Good coffee and Great home style breakfast. What more could you want
My experience here was excellent! Such a kind and awesome staff. Also the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to all
I love this place, great staff great food great friends the minute you walk in the door you know you're cared for.
Showed up at 730am on Sunday to eat and they were closed still even though they are supposed to be open. We sat in our car and someone held up their finger at us saying one minute but we ended up leaving. If you say your open at 7 then you should be open, seems unorganized so don’t really want to get food there.
Great place, great food and even better staff.
Would not go back. We waited quite a while to be greeted. Then after being sat waited another 5 minutes. I understand when places are busy and I worked in restaurants for 10 years, but when there are only a few people in the whole place I don't understand. The server was unable to answer if the burgers we're fresh or frozen and didn't want to go ask, needless to say we went with something else. It took 28 minutes to get our food, I timed it since it had taken so long for everything not even thinking it would be that long. When it finally came out it was luke warm and mediocre at best. Service was horrible, she didn't check in us and couldn't answer one question. Too bad, we wanted to like it.
Bad food, slow service, and getting worse. When the old owners sold it it has never been the same! Unfortunately the service has gotten so bad where it was really good in years past. Same with the food I got a burger today and it was a frozen pattie and actually disgusting! I'm sorry this good place has gone down hill. I do not recommend it!
Locally owned breakfast place! They need more gluten free, and healthy choices for my taste, but my daughter loves it.
I remember when this place first opened. It was amazing and always full on the weekends. Went back for the first time in a few years, and it was very empty. The building is falling apart, water leak stains on the ceiling, booth benches cracking. The food itself was equally terrible. I used to come here for their breakfast burrito. Now, the burrito is mostly just breakfast potatoes and subpar green chili on a dirty plate.Service was ok. Most of the staff was sitting in a bench socializing, but we did get the correct order in a timely manner at least. Hard to justify coming here with Le Peep and Snooze just down the street. Sad to see it decline so much from when it opened.
I despise eggs so since that's about all this menu has to offer I had the chicken and waffles. It really wasn't good, unseasoned, gravy was more of a paste, chicken tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Yuck. Definitely wouldn't come back or recommend.
3 Chicks used to be our go to restaurant when it first opened. But when we went recently on a Sunday morning, it disappointing. It was mostly empty which was sad for a weekend morning. We all ordered coffee and after 15 minutes didn't have it and had to ask for it, and it still took more than 5 minutes to get. Some of our food arrived at room temperature and the French toast was dry.
Came and left as soon as I saw the server not wearing a mask while helping the three tables that were seated. No one was wearing a mask or gloves that worked there!! It’s a law for restaurants. Seriously, we are in a pandemic!!
We are a baseball team from out of town. We are playing less than a mile away from this restaurant and planned to be out here early to eat before warm ups. The website AND the sign on the door says they open at 7am.......... as we are waiting someone posted a hand written note on the door at 7:05am that they will not open until 8am!!! Absolutely terrible!!!!
Got the ultimate burrito. It had good flavors and was very large. I got it with half white chili and half green chili. I preferred the flavor of the green chili to the white. The green chili would have benefitted from being heated up to a higher temperature as it was luke warm pretty quickly. The place wasn't very busy at all so there was no wait which is rare for a Sunday morning brunch around here. For that alone it might be a preferred place to go for me for brunch.
Ignored the PAST reviews and had a great breakfast at 3 chicks. French toast and pancakes were both to die for. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns all pretty good. Didnt catch the single waitresses name but she was killing it! Priced perfectly for the portions. Only docked a star because the "candied walnuts" were not, but whatever, very good food. Will be back.
Our service wasn’t the most professional. I ordered a club sandwich, and it had huge thick slices of tomato, and two extremely thin slices of cheap ham or turkey. I mean like shaved. Two slices. The fries and chips were fresh cut, that’s the only reason I’m giving the place two stars instead of one. Save your money and your time. This place probably won’t be in business much longer with the way it is. I read reviews beforehand but we decided to try it for ourselves anyway. We should have heeded the warning.
I loved three chick's because their food is delicious and full of flavor... you should try it...
The food was good and came out fast. I don't live in the area but I think I will probably be back.
Good customer service. Fair price to portion ratio. Comfortable atmosphere, with nice decor. Interesting spin on salsa. Breakfast was good, haven't tried lunch. Yet.
I adore this place. Such a great small town diner feel with awesome food options and excellent service. I've had Devon as a server nearly every time I've been in, and she's just the best.If you're thinking about breakfast, come here first and forget those big chains with their bland food.PS. Their coffee rules.
So..I've got to say..I was a bit skeptical when I browsed the menu, and only because I tend to choose far out, off the wall items. I decided to stick with a southern home usual and go with the biscuits and gravy..but then..riiiight above it..were their Chicken & Waffles...yall...listen..coming from a born southerner..I've got to admit, this was probably the best breakfast I had ever eaten (besides momma's homemade). The waffle was cooked perfectly golden with crisp edges, layered with fresh crunchy fried chicken pieces, covered in country sausage gravy, kissed with a bit of maple syrup, and hugged with chunks of bacon. It was a serious "shut yo mouth" moment. The staff was very friendly, restaurant clean, and the food was PHENOMENAL. I can't wait til family and friends come to visit because I already know where we're going for breakfast!! Great job!!
Great tasting food, large portions, reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly!
They advertise closing time at 2 pm, got there exactly at 1 and door was already locked, pretty disappointing.
The food is REALLY good and the service is OUTSTANDING!! HIGHLY recommend this place!!
I had eaten here a number of times 4 or 5 years ago, and it was always a solid option. Nothing really special, but good. My latest experience was terrible. My food was cold in some places and luke-warm in others. It reminded me of reheated leftovers. The fries were oily and undercooked. To top it all off, the service was slow and we got the impression that they were bothered by our being there. I won't be back.
Friendly staff, decent coffee. Green chili was not as hot and flavorful as hoped. Not a bad place. They do look to do a lot with the community.
Good food. Nice portions. Great place for a good conversation
Chicken on the chicken and waffles could use more seasoning. Went during week day and there was only 3 other tables being served but at least 3-4 tables had plates that hadn't been cleared the whole time we were in the restaurant. Breakfast Skillet was good! The server even split the kids meal between my two babies which was a much appreciated convenience. We'll be back to try again
Absolutely over driving to this place and they are randomly closed. They need to learn to be open when they say they are open. Dont waste your time with this unprofessional business they have issues, go where people actually want to work and cook food.
Food was average. Just did not taste like homemade or thoughtfully curated recipes at all. Coffee was a stale disappointment. All that said, my best advice is to welcome your customers when they walk in and especially when they sit down at a table. We waited ten minutes before being acknowledged. It was also stressful to have to listen to two completely different kinds of music in the house and kitchen (loudly played and easily heard in the house). House was quite dirty, as well.I want local businesses to be a success, so know that I am not upset, more disappointed that I did not make a great local find. You could easily make a few adjustments and fill the place daily. I hope you do!
We were excited to try 3 chicks today. we ordered then waited 40 minutes watched 2 tables preserved who came in long after we did. Asked our waitress what the issue was she wasn't concerned said she doesn't know what happens in the kitchen. We said we wereleaving she said have a good day. We won't be back
Great family owned restaurant.
I ordered the breakfast burrito...I was hungry..This burrito..was huge..my only complaint...Wish the burrito had cheese in it..None the less...Was good..and Green Chili was good...
The ultimate burrito is awesome and their specials are really good. They have a delicious burguer in special now, Colorado hatch burger
Interesting menu options with fun atmosphere. Not a chain so there is more to experience than the same old same ole.
We've visited here before and had a good experience. This time was very different. One of us ordered iced tea...which came with some very odd stringy things so that was returned and exchanged. We were pretty well ignored through most of our visit - aside from taking our order, bringing our food and paying for our meal. We asked for refills on drinks and boxes. We visited the restroom which stunk of backed up sewage - even commented to the staff of the smell which was ignored. The food was unimpressive - last time the pancakes were delicious but this time they were just ok. When I got home, I realized that we were overcharged...my mistake for not closely checking the bill before leaving. I think things have changed and don't plan on returning because of this experience.PS - I also ordered decaf coffee (which I asked the waitress to confirm when she served it to me) as I'm nursing. Pretty sure it wasn't...now I'm WIRED and so is my baby...Thanks a ton...
Food was yummy! Chicken and waffles! Wait was a little long with a group of 5 on a Sunday after church. (but expected)
Amazing amount of food for the very reasonable price. Everything tasted great. We had 5 people and. It a one had anything amiss with their meal. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food with a very welcoming and family feel! The white chile will blow your mind!
Creative, modern menu with a variety of delicious options. Excellent place!
Sandy and family were so helpful in working with us for a Client Appreciation Event. Selecting food, delivery, and setup was effortless and the food was AMAZING; we look forward to using 3 Chicks again in the future!!
Kids liked the breakfast burrito. Chicken and waffles had little taste. My wife got an omelette which came on a tiny plate. Coffee was good. Bathrooms smell like a sewer.
Gave em a few tries because the foods pretty good. Horrible service each time. Too bad since they are so close.
First time in. Food was good.
I'd have to say the majority of the reviews for this restaurant are clearly from angry past patrons we're sad to see the old owners go, or from someone who got fired. My Experience was good. The staff created me Right away, it took it took 2 mins for a table(I had a large party), and a Total of 5 to get a coffee. Food was good, green chili was a bit spicy for me...(I'm a wimp)...The chicken and waffles we're delicious, and something worth trying!
the perfect breakfast place for a delicious and amazing breakfast. The manager was very friendly and courteous. I had the French toast and they were so perfect. I highly recommend to everyone if you want a relaxed enjoyable neighborhood spot.
We used to love this place. Food quality and portions seem to have declined. It also smelled like the sewer system needs to be cleaned. Waffle was soggy, eggs overcooked. Also husband never got a refill on his tea.
Wonderful as always. My fiance and I eat there way too much but we can't help it. We love their coffee and breakfast. I always get the Ultimate Burrito with white chili, and he tries out new dishes each time and we are always impressed. They even told us that they are starting to make everything from scratch, like their hand cut fries (which were incredible) to slicing their own meats. I always bring new friends here. 10/10
Only one server.. maybe cook, manager, etc. Food was horrible, maybe that's why they had 3 tables on a. Sunday morning around 9am? Skip it, it's not worth $29
The food was good and filling. The service was slow. We were the only ones there, others left shortly after we arrived. There were many tables that needed to be bussed but nobody cleared them.
